Dustin (Dusty) M. Gary is the founder and sole stockholder of DM Gary Holding Company. An eagle scout and a third-generation engineer, Mr. Gary has been actively involved in the construction industry since 1995, when he began working as a laborer while in school. “ I love to create environments of principled entrepreneurship where people have the opportunity to flourish.” Dustin M. Gary Learning how to “work smart, not just hard” was a key lesson he took away from his 10 years in the field. After earning a bachelor’s and master’s degree in architectural engineering from Kansas State University, Mr. Gary joined Wolf Construction, Inc., as a project manager. He worked his way up to an executive position, responsible for implementing strategic initiatives and running the business side of the company. During this time, he also became an active investor in commercial real estate, where he gained experience in deal analysis, negotiation and financing. He is an active buy-and-hold investor with a 30-year investment timeline who has a special passion for building facilities, people and businesses. Mr. Gary resides in Topeka, Kansas, with his wife and three children.
